Mega Man 1-6 heads to Nintendo eShop in North America starting next week

Good news, everyone! Having already launched them in Europe and Japan, Capcom today announced that all six of the classic Mega Man titles will be launching on the Nintendo 2DS eShop, starting with the original Mega Man on December 27. The other six games will release at regular intervals throughout 2013 after that, with Mega Man 2 hitting the store on February 7.

Mega Man 1-6 Coming to Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Mega Man was one of Capcom's best-known franchises back in the NES and SNES era, and brought many of us into the fold of gaming; for my part, Mega Man 5 was the first game I ever played. Understandably, I'm stoked, as you should be, too.

If you've played the Mega Man series, now's the perfect time to relive your gaming childhood. If you've never played, it's the perfect time to try.
