Prototype 2 Revealed at 2010 Video Game Awards; No Resident Evil 6

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: GD Staff

Days ago everyone suspected Resident Evil 6 would be announced at the 2010 Video Game Awards. A graphic showing the Biohazard symbol that appeared in one of the pre-VGA trailers lead to the rumor.

Some, however, had seen a teaser website titled "Murder Your Maker" that seemed to point at the reveal of Prototype 2 instead. That was a step in the right direction, as a new trailer announcing Prototype 2 premiered tonight at the VGAs. Despite a few of the critics' opinions, we loved the first game, and so did players, obviously! That's why we're excited that Radical Entertainment is back to work and ready to give us another great almighty anti-hero experience.

Prototype 2 (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Unfortunately, we can't help it but feel that Capcom's sixth installment in the RE franchise should have made its debut tonight, giving us hope for that true Resident Evil 4 sequel many gamers are waiting for. Oh well, better luck next time... we'll definitely keep you posted if we hear anything!
