First premium expansion for SWTOR gets price and release date; Rise of the Hutt Cartel details inside
In a few months, Star Wars: The Old Republic will be getting its first digital expansion. Coming Spring 2013, the 'Rise of the Hutt Cartel' expansion will unleash a slew of new levels, missions, and more.
Working off a new story revolving around, as the title implies, the appearance of the nefarious Hutt Cartel, players will be able to engage in new story-driven missions (complete with fully voice-acted conversations) across five new levels set on the brand new planet Makeb.
The expansion will also bring with it an increased level cap, letting players go all the way to level 55 and earn more abilities, skill points, and gear in the process.
SWTOR's Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion is available for pre-order for $19.99. Subscribers can get the content for half-off at $9.99. Both options will provide buyers with five days of Early Access if they pre-order by January 7, 2013.
