Nintendo releases revised Q1 Wii U software launch schedule and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon release date
Nintendo has updated its software release schedule for the first quarter of 2013, and in the process it unveiled the launch dates for quite a few highly anticipated titles.
Among those is Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, the sequel to the 2001 fan favorite GameCube launch title. After being delayed out of its initial Holiday 2012 release window, the Big N has finally set the game with a release date: March 24.
Along with Luigi’s Mansion, the launch dates for a number of Wii U titles were revealed, including LEGO City: Undercover (March 18), Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (March 19, as you probably know already), Need for Speed: Most Wanted (March 19 as well) and The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct (March 26).
The software schedule also gives a look beyond Q1 2013. In addition to revealing the April 16 launch of the 3DS re-release of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner – Soul Hackers, it also confirmed that eagerly-awaited Wii U titles Game & Wario, The Wonderful 101, Wii Fit U, and Pikmin 3 are all set for release in "the first half of the year."
