Assassin's Creed III The Hidden Secrets and The Battle Hardened DLC packs now available for the Wii U
So far, Assassin's Creed III has been graced with two packs of DLC, and while PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC owners have been able to enjoy them for a while, Wii U owners have been left out in the cold, eagerly awaiting the time when they can join in.
That time has come, as Ubisoft has released both The Hidden Secrets and The Battle Hardened DLC packs on the Wii U eShop. The two add-ons are priced at $4.99 and $9.99, respectively.
In case you've missed out on all AC III-related news recently, the Hidden Secrets pack adds three extra missions to the single-player mode, taking players to Mayan ruins and the high seas, rewarding them with in-game items in the process. The Battle Hardened pack, meanwhile, is a supplement to the multiplayer modes, in that it gives you three new characters to play as and three new maps to play them on.
More AC III DLC is coming, Ubisoft promises. Among that new content will be the episodic single-player campaign, "The Tyranny of King Washington," an alternate history, post-American Revolution tale in which Connor must dethrone a now-tyrannical George Washington and return freedom to America. It is unknown at this time if this one will be released on the Wii U at the same time as the other systems.
