Leaked video reveals mystery Ubisoft title 'Osiris'

Author: Peter Grimm

Ubisoft appears to be at work on a project named “Osiris”, according to a rough cut demo video that has appeared online.

Describing the work as a project “from the studio that brought you Assassin’s Creed” (Ubisoft Montreal, in other words), the video, which first appeared on the blog of composer Mark Kilian, shows off a motion capture session mixed in with concept art that suggests Osiris will be set in ancient Egypt.

Leaked video reveals mystery Ubisoft title 'Osiris"

Recently, Ubisoft announced that its somewhat dormant Prince of Persia series is "on pause." This has led to speculation that Osiris may actually be the PoP reboot that has been rumored since last year. Could that be the case? It's possible, but until we get more information on Osiris (or, as I am going to refer to it from now on, “Prince of Persia Goes to Egypt, Probably”), we can only speculate as before.

You can watch the video for Osiris below in the meantime.
