New Battlefield game announced for 2014; EA pulls Medal of Honor 'out of rotation'
There is good news for fans of EA shooters, and there is bad news for fans of EA shooters.
Let’s start with the good news. At an earnings call for the third quarter of its 2013 fiscal year, EA confirmed that a new entry in the Battlefield series will be released next year. It was not specified if said game is actually Battlefield 4, though EA did talk about how it is “very excited to show you guys more detail on that coming soon”.

That’s the good news. The bad news concerns the Medal of Honor series. It was also at the Q3 earnings call that EA revealed that it has pulled the series “out of rotation”, following the poor critical and commercial reception of last year’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which COO Peter Moore described as an “obvious miss”.
“This one is behind us now,” Moore said. “We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation, and have a plan to bring year-over-year continuity to our shooter offerings.”

In addition to the BF4 and MOH news, EA officially announced that the 'End Game' DLC for Battlefield 3 will launch in March. Below the source links you can view the End Game CTF gameplay trailer, featuring frantic action astride dirt bikes.
