SEGA announces a Season Pass for Aliens: Colonial Marines

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: Peter Grimm

Because no AAA shooter would be caught dead without at least three downloadable add-ons these days, SEGA has announced that Aliens: Colonial Marines will come with a Season Pass that will enable people to buy its DLC for less.

For $29.99 (or 2400 Microsoft Points), Colonial Marines’ Season Pass will provide discounted access to the Gearbox shooter’s four planned downloadable expansions. That’s about 40% off from the $50 it would take to buy all four separately.

Sega announces Season Pass for Aliens: Colonial Marines

As of now, only one of the add-ons has been detailed. The first, called “Bug Hunt”, consists of a new mode where players have to cooperate to ward off waves of Xenomorphs, as well as three new maps based on locations from the Aliens movies. Additionally, Sega has revealed that Bug Hunt will be given away for free to those who buy the game from any Walmart store.

Sound like a good deal to you? Well, you don’t have to wait too long to take advantage of it. Aliens: Colonial Marines is coming out on February 12 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, with the Wii U version following next month.
