Valve fires Jeri Ellsworth

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: Nicholas Greene

Computer wiz Jeri Ellsworth today announced via twitter that she is no longer working at Valve, but she's said nothing more on the matter. Aside from a short tweet, no one has any idea what happened, and Ellsworth apparently isn't talking. Naturally, speculation is running rampant.

Valve fires Jeri Ellsworth

"Yep. Got fired today. Time for new exciting projects" tweeted Ellsworth earlier this morning.

While at Valve, Ellsworth was working on next-gen development; tinkering with hardware concepts and ideas for the Steam Box and Big Picture. Perhaps we'll find out more later, but for now it's kind of unfortunate news, isn't it?
