Gabe Newell to be honored with BAFTA Fellowship

Now, Gabe Newell, or "Gaben" as he's affectionately called, is being honored with a Fellowship by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. "Awarded annually by BAFTA, the Fellowship is the highest accolade bestowed upon an individual in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to games." (BAFTA).

The ceremony takes place on March 5 at the London Hilton in Park Lane.

A gamer at heart, Nick started writing when he was a child. He holds a BA in English, works as a freelancer, and loves every minute of it. One day, he hopes to net himself a career in game design - but that's something for the future.
