Sony previews its PS3 title, Rain, with a six-minute gameplay video

Though it caught people’s attention when it was revealed at Gamescom last year, Sony has been surprisingly quiet on Japan Studio’s PS3 adventure title Rain. Well, the House of PlayStation has finally rectified this, revealing the first-ever footage of the game in action at GDC in San Francisco.

Rain has intrigued many with its unique premise. The game tells the story of an invisible boy who only becomes visible in the rain and follows him as he dodges monsters and travels wet streets in search of an invisible girl.

And if the footage from the game’s first chapter (which you can view via and beneath the source link)  is any indication, Rain may truly be something special. But we won’t know for certain until the game launches sometime this year.

In the meantime, feel free to make use of the comment box below to let us know what you think of Rain.
