SEGA cancels development of Aliens: Colonial Marines for Wii U

I think a “Game over, man” line would be appropriate right about now.

If you were wondering what was up with Aliens: Colonial Marines for Wii U, here’s the latest: it’s dead. Sega cancels development of Aliens: Colonial Marines for Wii U

In some ways, it’s hardly surprising. Questions arose when the Wii U version, which was being developed by Demiurge Studios, missed out on launching alongside the PS3, X360, and PC versions in February, with no word from Sega or the developer at the time.

Usually, I would have bemoaned another AAA title not ending up on Nintendo’s console. All things considered, though, it’s a very small loss.
