BioShock Infinite DLC may include a new AI companion
It’s possible Elizabeth soon might not be the only A.I. companion in BioShock Infinite. Recently, a telling piece of information was found on the (now edited) LinkedIn profile of 2K Games senior animator Michael Shanan, which described his work on “BioShock Infinite DLC 1”, such as animation and R&D for a “new AI companion character" among other things.
So far, 2K hasn’t said much about Infinite’s three DLC packs, outside of it providing “hours of additional gameplay and continue the player's journey in the sky-city of Columbia with new stories, characters, abilities and weapons.” With that talk of new characters, it’s possible that a new character will come along and take over Elizabeth’s role as AI companion. And who’s to say that won’t be a new playable character instead of main protagonist Booker Dewitt? Such are the possibilities.
While 2K has yet to give a release window for BioShock Infinite’s DLC, all three can be purchased early for a discounted price via a $19.99 Season Pass.
