Microsoft registers domains for 'Xbox Fusion'

NEWS | ? Comments |

Author: Peter Grimm

It’s doubtful that Microsoft will spill the beans on what its next console will be called before its unveiling on May 21, but new domains registered by the company (and discovered by Fusible) may give us a clue. Strictly speaking, it’s possible the new console may go by the name “Xbox Fusion.”

Microsoft registers domains for 'Xbox Fusion'

As Fusible points out, Microsoft registered XboxFusion.com along with several variants like XboxFusion.info, XboxFusion.biz, XboxFusion.de, and XboxFusion.co.uk. Being as those tell us absolutely zilch about what Xbox Fusion could be, it’s easy to assume that that will be the name of the next-gen successor to the Xbox 360.

Be that as it may, we can’t jump to conclusions. Otherwise I’d assume the name meant Microsoft found a way to use an Xbox for this…

In all seriousness, only time will tell if Xbox Fusion has anything to do with the next Xbox. And being as that time is less than three weeks away, we don’t have long to wait at all.
