Diablo III is coming to PlayStation 3 in September; Xbox 360 version revealed
The date is set for when you can start smacking evil all the way back to hell from the comfort of your console. Diablo III is coming to PlayStation 3 systems around the world on September 3, Blizzard confirmed this morning.
That day will also see the release of the game for the Xbox 360, meaning no one in this current generation will need feel left out. Unless you consider the Wii U current-gen.
Additionally, the developer confirmed that pre-orders for Diablo III PS3/X360 are now being accepted. Pre-ordering will land players access to the in-game, experience-boosting Infernal Helm that will be wearable at level 1, allowing players greater speed in their journey towards demon dominance.
The console edition of Diablo III will be available for the PlayStation 4 in addition to the PS3 and X360, though it has not yet been given a release window. Also, it is not yet known if Blizzard has plans to expand the game to the other big next-gen console, the Xbox One.
I suppose time will rectify that, eventually.
Here are some new screenshots to enjoy in the meantime.
