New Xbox 360 model now available; free games coming to Xbox Live Gold members

From its E3 press conference, Microsoft announced that a new Xbox 360 model has been developed, one that is smaller and quieter than the previous “slim” model. Better yet, it’s now available.

In addition, Microsoft announced that two games will be made available to Xbox LIVE Gold members every month for free. Assassin’s Creed II and Halo 3 will be the first games out of the gate.
