New 'Bond 23' Tie-in Video Game on the Horizon
Hollywood reporting blog, Deadline.com, confirms that both Bond 23 the movie and its video game counterpart have been given the green light after MGM's finance woes were recently settled in bancruptcy court in December 2010.
According to the report, "Yet another James Bond videogame, which also had been held up because of the [financial] uncertainty, recently got the go-ahead." Bond 23 will hit theaters on November 9, 2012, so it stands to reason that the video game will launch around the same time.
No specific sources were cited by Deadline regarding the next Bond video game, but it certainly seems to jive with rumors surrounding Raven Software's (Singularity, Wolfenstein, Hexen) involvement -- it has been intimated throughout the net that Raven is currently working on a stealth-action Bond game.
