A white Xbox One has just sold on eBay for a grand total of $11,300.

The console is the same limited edition model which will be given to all Microsoft IEB employees, and isn't available to the general public. In addition to the white finish, the caption "I Made This" is engraved next to the disc tray. The console also includes a host of exclusive Day One and Launch Team achievements.

Thankfully, this isn't just a case of someone with too much money springing for a pointless collectible - proceeds for the auction will be put towards the Wounded Warrior Project, a program which provides services to injured service members.

The winning bidder - who beat out seventy others - will also receive Forza 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, and Crimson Dragon.
