WoW: Warlords of Draenor release date announced with new cinematic trailer
Begin preparations, World of Warcraft fans. The king of MMOs will be expanding into the realms of the Warcraft franchise’s early days with the launch of its next expansion, Warlords of Draenor, which will take place on November 13, Blizzard announced today.
The date was announced in a recent WoW livestream event, where the developer went into detail on some of the new content coming later this year, ranging from a “dynamic” new PvP arena called Ashran to an in-game event that will take place pre-launch. Anyone who missed the livestream can catch a replay of it on Blizzard’s website.
Blizzard also released a couple of videos, one of which is the opening cinematic for Warlords of Draenor, which depicts a pivotal moment in the history of the Orcs of Draenor with the same impressive quality fans have come to expect from the developer’s trailers.
The other is the first installment of Lords of War, an animated, five-part mini-series that introduces viewers to some of the key characters in the expansion’s campaign, starting with Kargath Bladefist, the sadistic leader of the Shattered Hand.
Though around three months remain before WoW players can play Warlords of Draenor, they can pre-order the expansion to get access to a level-90 character boost that will help them get ready for the MMO madness that will break out come November.
