In 2004, after completing Call of Duty: United Offensive, Gray Matter Interactive, who also developed Return to Castle Wolfenstein, joined forces with Treyarch.
In 2009, after shipping the hit title Call of Duty: World at War, Treyarch followed up by producing three Map Packs which broke console downloadable content records.
