Rebellion

Description:

Oxford-based game development studio Rebellion was founded in 1992 by brothers Jason and Chris Kingsley.

The company's first major success was the Aliens vs. Predator franchise for the Atari Jaguar in 1995. but, it has also worked with major publishing houses to bring games such as Activision's Call of Duty: World at War to PS2, LucasArts' Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron to PSP, and EA's Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix to the PSP as well.

The company has diversified since, purchasing a number of other creative firms in the area - even going so far as to acquiring the UK sci-fi comic line 2000 AD in June 2000.
