Frontier Developments LTD. is a video game developer based in Cambridge, England. The company was founded in 1982 by David Braben, creator of Elite.

Frontier is best known for its Lost Winds franchise as well as its development of Kinectimals for Microsoft's Kinect -- a hands-free human interface device.

Frontier Developments works with top publishers and are currently developing for most major platforms including Xbox 360,  Nintendo Wii,  PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable (PSP), and Windows PC.
