This topic was lonely, so I better reply...

I've bought my mom a few video games throughout the years, but she's better at "stealing" mine. She still uses my good ol' NES with Super Mario Bros. and Boulder Dash, and she plays some handheld games too... or Solitaire!

About the segway, not sure where it came from, but I think I remember the inventor actually died using it. Went off a cliff with it or something.
