Funcom y Electronic Arts anunció en la rueda de prensa de EA en Gamescom que el próximo MMO moderno acerca de las sociedades secretas y el ocultismo, The Secret World, se lanzará en todo el mundo a partir de abril de 2012.

Además de la ventana de lanzamiento del MMO, EA también compartió planes para una "única campaña interactiva de medios sociales", que permitirá a los consumidores inscribirse para los próximos betas a partir del 26 de agosto de 2011.

Get Ready to Join the Secret War, Beta Registration Opens on August 26^th

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – August 16^th, 2011 – World-leading independent game developer Funcom and EA Partners, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS), today announced that the highly anticipated modern-day, Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMO), The Secret World™ will release for the PC in April 2012. Starting August 26^th, gamers can register to join upcoming betas, through a unique interactive social media campaign that will be made available on www.thesecretworld.com.
