Robot Entertainment, el estudio independiente de creación de videojuegos que surgió de las cenizas de Ensemble Studios (Age of Empires, Halo Wars) ha revelado hoy su primer juego original, Orcs Must Die!
Orcs Must Die! es un juego de acción y estrategia que mezcla elementos de defensa de torres con el viejo estilo de hack-n-slash. El comunicado de Robot Entertainment resume el tipo de juego con precisión:
"Orcs Must Die! te reta a defender fortalezas bajo ataque. Con una amplia variedad de trampas y armas para elegir, Orcs Must Die! reta a los jugadores a encontrar las mejores maneras de hackear, lanzar, aplastar, triturar e incinerar un ejército interminable de orcos sucios y sus viles aliados. "

Robot Entertainment Unveils Orcs Must Die!
First original game from the independent studio behind Age of EmpiresTM and Halo WarsTM announced
PLANO, Texas – February 24, 2011 – Robot Entertainment unveiled their latest creation today, the fantasy action-strategy game Orcs Must Die!™A white-knuckle blend of action and strategy, Orcs Must Die! challenges players to defend fortresses under siege. With a wide variety of traps and weapons to choose from, Orcs Must Die! dares players to find the best ways to hack, launch, flatten, gibletize, and incinerate an endless army of filthy orcs and their vile allies. Orcs Must Die! features a vibrant look, addictive gameplay, and a blatant disregard for the welfare of orcs.
“Don’t negotiate with them. Don’t just maim them. You must kill the orcs,” insisted Patrick Hudson, CEO of Robot Entertainment. “Robot exists to make great games that our fans love. Orcs Must Die! is our first original title, and we're counting on players to do what must be done: drive the orcs into oblivion!”
Orcs Must Die! will be available exclusively as a digital download on personal computers and consoles this summer.
